Can Wiki Be Trusted?

Pretty bubble floating in front of a green outdoor background.

Wikipedia is a popular, pop culture site that if you are in your teens you may feel is a reliable source, as a college student you should know better. This source can be trusted to some extent but information should always be backed up by two or three other reliable sources. The information is quick and accessible and the the fact that the information can be changed is a thing of the past. New regulations require that all info be submitted to a review board before it can be submitted onto the Wikipedia database. I think this will cut down on a lot of the unreliable information that was so readily available and keep the site from losing any more credibility.

  1. Excellent review Brigit. Mr. McClung's advice can be used in higher education as well ;)
